MICROBUBBLE PLATE DIFFUSERS:

These aquaculture-duty diffusers are among the most efficient diffusers available, allowing you to increase yield while controlling the cost of expensive gases. Made from premium materials and subject to rigorous testing. These diffusers use a specially developed, ultra fine pore ceramic plate that produces a cloud of extremely fine bubbles of approximately 100-500  microns; far superior to airstones, porous hose or membrane type designs. The flat plate design ensures uniform bubbles across the entire surface and  minimizes bubble coalescence to achieve an absorption rate in excess of 80%, depending on depth and flowrate. Bubbling Pressure is 25 to 35 psi. (1.7 to 2.4 bar).

WEDGE-LOCK™ DIFFUSERS:

WEDGE-LOCK™ is a modular system of diffusers and end sets that fit together to form a bank of up to eight units. Oxygenation capacity can be increased (or decreased) as your needs demand by simply changing the number of diffusers used for greater flexibility and minimal downtime. Designed for total ease of use, WEDGE-LOCK™ modules 'Twist and Lock' together to form an air-tight seal without the use of tools. Hose with push-in fittings connects the diffuser banks to the gas supply, significantly reducing set-up time and effort. Manufactured from tough plastic, WEDGE-LOCK™ will not corrode and is resistant to the Sun's ultraviolet rays. The diffuser's streamlined wedge shape improves stability in tanks with high water flow and offers less resistance in self-cleaning tank systems. 9" DISC DIFFUSER:

FlexAir® bubble disc diffusers are made of high-strength polypropylene with 3/4" MNPT connections. Each diffuser has a minimum of 6,600 engineered air release orifices, which is up to 20% more than comparable models. The special design of the EPDM membrane, with its engineered thickness taper, results in full utilization of the membrane surface, even at low airflow operations. This results in improved oxygen transfer efficiency, along with maximum operational flexibility. Every FlexAir® bubble disc diffuser has an integral "triple" check valve to prevent fluid backflow. Normal airflow range is 0-5 cfm. Resistance is about 10" H2O when clean. Has fine bubble EPDM membranes installed and weighs 2 lbs. Made in USA.

SWEETWATER AIR DIFFUSERS:

Sweetwater diffusers are high quality ceramic type air diffusers that are machined form a solid block of glass bonded silica. With their round grain pore structure, low resistance and uniform porosity, Sweetwater diffusers are excellent for aquaculture, wastewater and lake aeration applications. Sweetwater diffusers are engineered to produce the smallest bubble possible within the constraints of a reasonable service life. In most soft water applications, you won't need to clean them for more than a year.

SWEETWATER FINE PORE AIR DIFFUSERS:

Sweetwater brand fine-pore diffusers are the same high-quality diffusers as the regular Sweetwater diffusers. The only differences in the smaller pore size which produce finer bubbles. Sweetwater fine-pore diffusers do require higher pressure (about 5″ H2O more) and more frequent cleaning so they are not recommended for regular aeration. The bubble uniformity is excellent.

How to Clean SWEETWATER Diffusers:

The only maintenance normally required is periodic cleaning.
(1) Remove from service and blow off excess water, clean off any foreign material.
(2) Immerse completely in undiluted muriatic acid for a sufficient time to dissolve the clogging material. This may take from one minute to eight hours in extreme cases. Please take all necessary precautions when working with acid.
(3) After clogging material has been dissolved, rinse thoroughly before reuse.
(4) Discard the used acid by first reducing its strength to a neutral pH, diluting with at least 10 times as much water as acid.

CYLINRICAL DIFFUSERS:

These diffusers are made from fused alumina. They produce a bubble size of 1-2 mm and require a higher pressure than Sweetwater® medium-pore diffusers. They have a molded square rubber support on each end that supports and protects them from tank bottoms and protects the tank or liner from the diffuser. They fit both 3/16" and 1/4" tubing and are 1.2" in diameter.

ECONOMY AIRSTONES:

These inexpensive airstones are perfect for hobbyists and aquariums. Blue in color. 3/16″ barb inlets

DIFFUSER BUMPERS:

To protect your diffusers from abrasives like concrete or to protect your tank from your diffusers, order two diffuser bumpers per airstone. Easily stretch over 1.5″ airstones.

AIR CURTAINS:

These flexible, aquarium air diffusers produce a small curtain of air bubbles. They are rubber porous tubing with a flexible lead insert and 3/16″ barbed inlet. They can be bent in a circle, straight line or almost any shape. Self-weighted, 0.1 cfm/ft.

BIO-WEAVE DIFFUSER TUBING:

Self-weighted Bio-Weave diffuser hose is a popular method of introducing air and oxygen into hauling tanks and culture tanks where durability is important. It is made of a strong, long-life woven material designed to last for years. Operating range is 0.2-0.6 CFM per foot. The diffuser surface is a soft polyester fiber for easy bending. Because no hold-down device is required, placement and removal is simple. These medium bubble diffusers come with hose fittings (including a cap for the male end) and a 1/4″ male barb adapter for the female end. Bio-Weave has about a 20-inch H₂O resistance to air flow, so it is marginally compatible with regenerative blowers.

DIFFUSER TUBING - HIGH EFFICIENCY:

This patented, low-pressure rubber/polyethylene diffuser hose is made for aquaculture. Step on it and it springs right back! This is efficient tubing, with a pressure resistance of only 12″ of H2O at normal flow rates when new. Diffuser lengths of up to 20′ per inlet are possible at low airflow rates. Tubing has a good oxygen transfer rate and is compatible with both regenerative blowers and linear air pumps.The gas flow rate is an average of .1-.5 cfm/ft; higher and lower flows are possible. Tubing produces a strong volume of medium-size bubbles (approximately 3 mm). For connections, use 1/2″ barb fittings with clamps. Hose ends may be heat-sealed or fitted with a plug and clamp. To counteract buoyancy, hold-downs or weights are required. For best results, the tubing should be oriented with the blue stripe on the bottom. Inside diameter is 1/2″ (13 mm); outside diameter is 1″ (25 mm).

OXYGEN FLOW METERS:

3.5, 8 or 15 LPM. Pressure compensated at 50 PSIG, Maximum pressure of 100 PSIG. High impact lexan hood and flow tube with machined brass base. Stainless steel stem valve. O-ring sealed.

3-FLOW METER MANIFOLDS:

Manifolds are constructed from stainless steel and the Key Instruments oxygen flow meters. They are easily mounted to hauling tanks or trucks and can be connected to form larger configurations. Manifolds are fully assembled, leak tested and include inlet/outlet barb fittings. Available with 0-3.5, 0-8 or 0-15 LPM flow meters.

5-FLOW METER MANIFOLD:

Aquaculture-duty flow meter manifold assembly for use with pure oxygen. Five (0-15 LPM) calibrated oxygen flowmeters with 1/4" brass barb swivel nut outlets. Each flowmeter is connected to the manifold with an Oxy B fitting, allowing easy removal for maintenance.  Main inlet shut off valve with 3/8" brass barb swivel nut inlet.  60 PSI manifold pressure gauge included.  Ideal for use with Point Four Micro Bubble Diffusers.  One-year warranty.

FLOW METER MANIFOLDS:

These flow meter manifolds are designed for use with pure oxygen. The manifolds and adjustable valves are chrome-plated. Flow meters measure from 0 to 6 lpm and have 3/8" barb inlet/outlet connections. Pressure gauge included. One-year warranty. Imported.
Note: Tests have been conducted that clearly show that the Sweetwater® Fine-Pore Diffusers are well suited for use with the MFM Flow Meter Manifolds. The Sweetwater® diffusers allow for a full range of adjustment (1 to 6 LPM) for an input pressure of 5 to 23 PSI, well below the MFM manufacturer's maximum input pressure of 42 PSI. On the other hand, the extremely fine pores of the Point Four Oxygen, or BD Series diffusers are not compatible with the MFM Flow Meters range and adjustment valves, providing flows of only 1.25 LPM @ 42PSI. USING ULTRA-FINE PORE DIFFUSERS WILL DAMAGE THESE FLOW METER MANIFOLDS.
